  • Monthly School Mass

A lesson from the altar. With the help of our younger students, Fr Mike’s re-enactment showed them what it really means to be a deep rooted Catholic, and how to make the right choices so they can blossom in their faith. If your faith is deep and rooted it can withstand any of life’s struggles that may come your way. A beautiful lesson learned by all.
  • Crazy socks and shoes everywhere

Thanks to our Student Council for implementing the first ever Socks & Shoe Day.   Everyone jumped on board to help those less fortunate this Christmas season by donating new mittens, hats, gloves, scarves and earmuffs.  In exchange the students were allowed to wear crazy socks and shoes or slippers to school with their uniform.   A fun way to learn about giving to others in need.  Click on the photo to see more.
  • Holy Family Takes the Plunge!

On Sunday, January 13, our very own Mr. Hecht and Mrs. Limpert lead the way with several of our middle school students, alumni and HFS parents as they ran into the frigid Atlantic Ocean to help raise money for our new playground! Thanks to our amazing families, we were able to raise over $1,000 that will go towards a new fun place for our students to play!!  A BIG thanks to those who were brave enough to run into the cold waters of the Atlantic! … THANK YOU!!!  Click on the picture to see [ read more...]

Mrs. Stankovics famous Wax Museum comes to life. Elvis, Lennon, Sinatra and even Bob Marley were in the house! Click on the picture of Katy Perry to see more of our students perform as their favorite musical artists.
  • Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross were re-enacted by our 8th grade students this morning.  What a beautiful explanation of the suffering that Jesus went through before he died on the cross.
  • Christmas in…..May!

Every year HFS holds our “Christmas Giving Tree” during the Christmas months to help those less fortunate, however due to Hurricane Sandy, we were not able to have it this year. Instead, we are going to have a “Spring Giving Tree”.  Since it’s a time of new beginnings and growth, it’s also the perfect time to give a child with cancer and other illnesses hope and faith.   Click on Santa to see the items we will need.  Sarah Bunn, an 8th grade student, is organi [ read more...]
